	Welcome to Kurmis of Jharkhand! The association is for the people, of the people and by the people of the Kurmi Community. It is both for Kurmi(Mahato) in Jharkhand and Kurmi in other parts ! It is an association of people who dream of doing something for themselves as well as for others deprived people !

	Hi ALL There is a great setback for Kurmis of Jharkhand that they are being sidelined from the post of Mukhiya. As per the new notification Kurmi can't fight in Mukhiya election. You know the population of Kurmis in Jharkhand is approx. 20%.Out of 14 MP seats we have only 2 MPs and 81 MLAs only 5 MLAs . In beuacracy there is no IAS and IPS officer however there are some Class II offices but appointed in shunting area. To uplift the downtrodden people we should demand to include our community in the ST category. Here 90% of our community are dependent on agriculture and most of them still fighting for their bread and butter.we are still not having basic education for ourselves.This is the platform of intellectuals community. You are the person whom our community feel proud so you only can show path to our political leaders and common man of your village. You need to only spend some time to think on this.
